Sustainability
We wanted to preserve the beautiful heritage of Aparthotel Acacia for future generations, and it already has a certain sustainability element. During our renovation work, we took into account the building's energy and ecological adaptations.
But our sustainable business practices extend further into the daily operations of our hotel. We also strive to reduce our ecological footprint here, in as many ways as possible: local partnerships and products, waste reduction through reusable pots and water glasses and composting with our chickens, energy reduction through daily monitoring, and more.
About Green-Key
The Green Key is the international quality mark for companies in the tourism and recreation sector that are seriously and verifiably involved in environmental care at the company. With the objective of obtaining a green key certificate, Aparthotel Acacia also wants to actively contribute to better environmental care.

The Meetjesland is a fantastic region to explore by bike. Rent one of our e-bikes from us and start exploring our beautiful region without the worries and hassle of bikes. The region is the perfect base for beautiful bike rides. Enjoy the creeks, forests, polders, vast nature and peace. We are happy to provide you with our bike rides and tips!
Tip: our e-bikes are very popular: so reserve your bikes in advance to be sure of availability! Due to the great success, the bikes are only available for our hotel guests.
